in the end of my book Darren is faced with a conflict of having to do the right thing, After having his best friend bit by a poisons spider he does nothing to try to save him but he finally decides its time and seeks out the vampire which had owned the spider and tries to bargain with him to give Darren the cure but he wants something in return and it happens to be an apprentice now that he has been left behind by the circus. Darren tries to refuse and just pay for it but is denied and is forced into becoming a vampire in order to save Steve. during all this time darren trying to find away out can not and starts undergoing the blood transfusion to become a half vampire. The main conflict in the book was steve being poisoned and it is finally being resolved by Darren giving up his life to save another. Darren tries to run from the fact he is half vampire and half human but cannot when he almost bites his sister and is forced to fake his death so his parents would not look for him when he left them to live with mr.crepsly.

If you were pushed into a situation where you had to give up your life to save another would you. Would you be willing to give up everything you have?

during the next section of my book, Steve and Darren are watching the last few acts of the show and a performer named mr.crepsly comes on with his pet spider madam octa during their performance all Steve stares at is mr.crepsly and he doesn't say a word about the rest of the act. At the end of the show Steve tells Darren to just meet him at his house and doesn't give him the reason why so Darren curious as he was sneaks up onto the balcony and stares at the stage and sees something coming up which turns out to be Steve. from the back of the stage something swoops down which is mr.crepsly as it turns out Steve was staring at him because he was a vampire. Steve had commanded that he make him a vampire but denies because he is evil, he has bad blood and the natural instinct to kill. Darren watching from the balcony shocked at what his friend is saying leaves and heads home, the next few days all Darren can think about is the spider and how he would do anything to have it, so what does he do? he makes a plan to go on Tuesday morning at 5 am to steal the spider. so Darren sneaks into the old theater gets the spider and leaves after putting a note explaining not to look for him or he would go to the police. Darren thinks he is safe and starts to train the spider, one day while playing with it steve shows up unexpectedly and Darren is forced to show him while showing Steve some tricks annie bursts in Darrens room and breaks darrens control of the spider which than bites steves neck and paralyzes him. darren not knowing what to do calls his mom and tells her that while he was in the bathroom something must have snuck in and bit him.
